I am assuming we are down to Belgium and Portugal are the only non-island, non landlocked countries in the EU that don't have coastlines on the mod or baltic (France and Netherlands ruled out)

As portugal have never had a GT winner he must be from Belgium

Except it's usually spelled Eddy, and apparently his name is actually Edouard, I sure didn't know that.
