It's black (at least for my eyes), the true ninja colours.

Sad to see him go...if indeed he will be gone.... I imagine from time to time he could appear in a top 10.

This years Tour was example enough, he wasn't even on the startlist and still rode it

My favorite Haimar moment is no doubt that time when Trek had all the riders names on the side of the bus and without even realizing it the DS was standing at the exact perfect place to block "Zubeldia" so even then he wasn't visible.

When i watched the Classic San Sebastian live Zubeldia got the biggest cheer at the presentation of all the riders. Landa, Purito and Valverde were popular but Haimar seemed like a rock star. Then of course that was the last time I saw him that day. :lol:

With MAL wearing the white jersey, Astana's colours were just too visible today for anyone not to notice. On the other hand, there's another rider in the top-10 wearing a black and green kit on roads under dark skies trough green forests...

Love the pic . That is true, that early in his carrier it was different, but at least last 10 years of it all hype on this board was just about his invisibility. And he was master of this discipline.
