Drank hand made beer from a home brew shop in Brooklyn. It was a flavor that was extraordinary. 10 gallons of bliss. Got to listen to members of The Drums and Violens play a kitchen jam session.

I was given a sincere thank you for listening to a friend, that lost his cheating wife and loyal dog. Switched jobs and lost his father 12 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. He lost a close friend that now walks his dog and probably shares a towel and toothpaste with his soon to be ex-wife.

He now has a better job, girlfriend that looks like Eva Longoria and a prewar apt in Park Slope for less than he was paying before. I still don't know what I have to do with it, but he told me that sitting there holding a glass and listening was critical. Very few things come out better with lots of scotch but this did. It was a great way to start the new year with smiling faces all around.

Happy New Year to everybody, even the Chargers coaching staff

Now that's what I call a happy ending. :)

On a different note, most of my NYE experiences are closer to the panel on the right:

Mostly because that's the way I prefer it. (Except this NYE - I think I was watching Netflix.)
