You are jumping to conclusions based on virtually no evidence. Not signing him could also be based on the fact he is old as dirt and can't ride worth crap anymore.

I would never dare speculate wildly on this fact-insistent forum

Do you mean that he talked in the investigation, if so, I shall move this to the clinc. And if so, I think you are really starting to see things and connections that aren't there :p

the shack must have a new sponsorship deal to test out those new airbags next year in the TdF that they are using in 'horse trials' because they have kept 1 particular rider for next year...

19 riders with the team have contracts for 2011: Lance Armstrong, ........

...:D

Chechu didn't make the Tour team, and has yet to produce any great result or even be a great domestique this year. Why would they resign him when they can go out and get someone much younger with a bright future?

You are completely right, he never showed anything particular and will simply be thrown off the Bruyneel ship. Has nothing to do with talking in an investigation.

Kind of like Sastre at Cervelo! He was thrown of the Vroomen ship I suppose if you want to call not resigning a rider being thrown off.

Riders are hired to perform. If they can't/don't then it is in the best interest of the team to hire people who can.

Hmmm... I was expecting he'd retire and move into some sort of DS role. From what I understand, he has a great relationship with most of the team.

Isn't the basis for signing most of the RS riders are that they are as old as dirt and can't ride worth crap anymore and they need a paycheck to restrain certain memories...

I'm going to go with old as well. I don't think LA has any fear of CR talking. He is Spanish and the Spanish don't talk, well except for Jesus Manzano, ok he talked a lot.

...unlike the highly successful squad that took part in this year's TDF..how many stages or jerseys did they win again? ....

Following your train of thought, they should fire the following (and replace them with younger guys with bright future):

Armstrong
Leipheimer
Horner
Kloden
Rubiera
and so on...

You should follow his train of thought - but not start your own TdF-train.

So???? Totally normal for this and other internet forums I've perused. Lots of strong opinions backed by very little substance.

they won a stage, which is one more than ten other teams, and took the team competition by nine minutes. i wouldn't say that is completely unsuccessful.
