Stunning, Krebs! You're the daddy, for sure.;)

I wonder if Wiki would accept an entry about a single topic? I mean, (he tries not to blush) we have a topic right here that is unique to the world of forums, as far as I know, a topic that will have attracted 2 million hits sometime early in the new year.

Never saw it, what did it say?

I wrote this at 2 in the morning/midnight and can definitely say there's not much thinking about the history of the forum and its users involved and there may be the presence of a lot of gibberish.

It's a bit large to post so it's uploaded.

They don't allow it even though it's a greater cause of dehydration than droughts. :(
Surely a threshold of a couple of days to allow self gloating would help.

They said the grounds by which it was deleted is because the forum does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject.

Why don't we indicate its importance as a historically reliable source of rumours that have turned out to be true before the media have caught hold of them.

We can have examples of these in 90% of the wiki page, and then the final 10% can be called "Controversies" where we will put WonderLance's quote.

That will work.

A very good idea but folks from CN.com might not want it to be there

Theres this, http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showthread.php?t=11559

where i put a lot of Wonderlances greatest hits but its in the clinic so maybe yeah a new thread should be created.

Maybe you (or anyone else) can help me out here. I don't think that I've been to the Clinic more than maybe five times or so. I also was entirely absent from this forum for the 18 months or so preceding my 'return' this May or June.

Therefore, I have only today had the indescribable pleasure of reading Wonderlance's contributions on the link quoted here.:D

Who is this guy? Where from? Does he still post? Is he banned? Was he for real? Some of his stuff is absolutely hysterical, web humor of the highest order!

Nah he was not for real, he was just a joker who would troll, mainly Lance haters, but also Durainrider and Evans fans and others, on his own terms so they could never win.

I am sure you will find this thread particularly entertaining

http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showthread.php?t=11269

These 2 are also WL at his best because he is arguing against posters who believe he is for real.

But this exchange here is imo the mans piece de resistance

Road Hazzard said:
I understand the national championship colors, or worlds colors, but damn man, are you on the the team or not?

WonderLance said:
Lance is the team, he can do what he likes.

Mont Ventoux said:
Exactly, select who'll look after his bar fridge in the closet,
who'll stand guard outside the hotel room door,
who'll benefit from the semi-annual Trek bike raffle.

With an ego as big as his, there's no friggin' way he can ride in anything smaller than a team bus!!!

Keep dreaming the nightmare fan-boy!

WonderLance said:
Lance finished third in the tour last year, where did you finnish?

auscyclefan94 said:
He was too busy hating others!

WonderLance said:
Lance was not hating on anyone, he was racing in the fight against cancer.

auscyclefan94 said:
I was not reffering to Lance!

WonderLance said:
This is the Lance Armstrong thread. If you're not refffering to lance I sugest you go elsewhere.

auscyclefan94 said:
I was reffering to the haters of LAnce. You were saying where did Mont Ventoux finish, I said he was too busy hating to finish!

WonderLance said:
You seem to be talking about non-lance related subjects still, are you having trouble following the thread? Please stick to the subject matter.

Mont Ventoux said:
Sadly my Finnish isn't as good as it should be.
I mean, I own a Nokia cell phone, and I really dig Scandinavian girls, but my Finnish isn't what it should be...

.

WonderLance said:
I like nokia too but those girls dont really look enough like my mother.

Susan Westemeyer said:
Wonderlance: You are not a mod. Please stop.

WonderLance said:
OK, I understand.

How do I become one?

And so began WL's campaign for forum moderator.

WonderLance said:
I believe that there is a solution to the moderation problem. I am starting up a special campaign to make me a moderator. This forum needs my special skills at being able to call out the pro-cancer trolls. Mr and Mrs moderator are very good most times they let people say bad things about lance, like he cannot eat 32 gels while pedaling at 200rpm and that he was only doing ashley Olsen to get at Bob Saget.

I have lots of post and am a very good spelller and a nice guy, you would like me if you got to know me, Im not spanish.

people pick on me a lot because I like Lance and Evens but i think i could help this problem by becoming a moderator.

I have a lot of support from powerful people both within the forum and outside and will not rest until I am a mod or the tour de lance is over

OMFG!!! :D

Thank you for this effort, Hitch. I have been returning to this post regularly all evening in between other evening activities and have now read all the links you posted. The one above in particular had my sides aching and my eyes turning moist. The exchange you posted in quotes culminating in his campaign to become a mod is another classic of web humor. I stand in awe in the presence of a master. Did he ever post outside of the Clinic?

You are the one who is blind and connot see the truth in the world. You live sheltered in a monastry of your hate, and cannot admire beauty and truth while I snort the cocaine of excellence and bang the hooker of awesomeness.

I think that is the most beautiful thing I have ever read.

The finest post on this forum... ever

Agree with Krebs and Scott!

My screan name is from my past job in the adult entertainment industry.

Hysterical, together with the 'Huge Poll' title.

He is talking as the strongest most virile rider ever to throw his leg over

My tea went up my nose at this......

Comic genius, awesome...this has made my day. Big thanks to all concerned.:D

German chamber of commerce organise a german christmas market at their embassy and so this year will be the 1st i go there, what should i expect and what should i buy, i figure beer will be there and apart from beer what uniquely german christmas thing should i look forward and no i dont want to buy 80's german pop music :D?

Uh, what does that have to do with the wonderful WonderLance, and the rest of this thread? I guess it doesn't matter!

BTW, wanted to comment some time ago, that graphic by Krebs is one of the best things ever, and this a great thread.
