I wonder if Wiki would accept an entry about a single topic? I mean, (he tries not to blush) we have a topic right here that is unique to the world of forums, as far as I know, a topic that will have attracted 2 million hits sometime early in the new year.

I wrote this at 2 in the morning/midnight and can definitely say there's not much thinking about the history of the forum and its users involved and there may be the presence of a lot of gibberish.

They don't allow it even though it's a greater cause of dehydration than droughts.
Surely a threshold of a couple of days to allow self gloating would help.

Why don't we indicate its importance as a historically reliable source of rumours that have turned out to be true before the media have caught hold of them.

We can have examples of these in 90% of the wiki page, and then the final 10% can be called "Controversies" where we will put WonderLance's quote.

Therefore, I have only today had the indescribable pleasure of reading Wonderlance's contributions on the link quoted here.

Who is this guy? Where from? Does he still post? Is he banned? Was he for real? Some of his stuff is absolutely hysterical, web humor of the highest order!

Nah he was not for real, he was just a joker who would troll, mainly Lance haters, but also Durainrider and Evans fans and others, on his own terms so they could never win.

And so began WL's campaign for forum moderator.

I believe that there is a solution to the moderation problem. I am starting up a special campaign to make me a moderator. This forum needs my special skills at being able to call out the pro-cancer trolls. Mr and Mrs moderator are very good most times they let people say bad things about lance, like he cannot eat 32 gels while pedaling at 200rpm and that he was only doing ashley Olsen to get at Bob Saget.

I have lots of post and am a very good spelller and a nice guy, you would like me if you got to know me, Im not spanish.

people pick on me a lot because I like Lance and Evens but i think i could help this problem by becoming a moderator.

I have a lot of support from powerful people both within the forum and outside and will not rest until I am a mod or the tour de lance is over

Thank you for this effort, Hitch. I have been returning to this post regularly all evening in between other evening activities and have now read all the links you posted. The one above in particular had my sides aching and my eyes turning moist. The exchange you posted in quotes culminating in his campaign to become a mod is another classic of web humor. I stand in awe in the presence of a master. Did he ever post outside of the Clinic?
