Hero doper anyone?

I HATE dopers but I must admit I liked Valverde taking the win and the time bonus from the twit in TdF 2005

Definitely. Though calling him a hero would be a bit of a stretch.

He was my favourite rider, even though he was doped to the gills.

If a rider dopes, I'd at least prefer if one rides like him rather than like Levi or Menchov.

The subject line was a tough call. Hero perhaps controversial but a short word instead of "rider who you would pay to watch cos of how he rode his bike, spoke to the media despite my not knowing a word of his language, being doped to the gills on EPO and there's me with the view that blood doping has cattle trucked cycling and other endurance events far more than roids ever did"

I couldn't think of anything near as short or as apt - so Hero it was.
