HGH and Rider question

Is there evidence of pituitary tumors and or abnormal bone growth around the jaw or more specifically the gum line of rider.

I am not talking Hincapie jaw or Contador forehead.

More on the lines of a platypus.

WADA's thresholds limit the abuse of HGH. Assuming the sports federation tests for it and would actually process the positive. Finally, most athletes keep their health complications from doping private. It's kind of like asking a heroin user about their drug use. Not too many honest answers.

The longer answer and why PED testing, as implemented by the IOC permits doping to flourish:

HGH use is popular in many Olympic sports. It requires a blood test, which testing has only recently gone into double-digits of all tests run for 2012(??)

The "decision limit" varies depending on the method used to test the blood samples. 1.81 or 1.68 for males, 1.46 or 1.55 for females. So, as long as the athlete does not cross the threshold, HGH use is okay. How difficult is it to monitor your use? The athlete can run their own tests. http://www.healthtestingcenters.com/hgh.aspx USD $79! Combine it with a $49 Testosterone test and you'll never test positive for either and get all the benefits.

Here's WADA's official friendly, not-scientific information: http://www.wada-ama.org/en/resources/q-and-a/human-growth-hormone-hgh/

See WADA's published scientific document on the HGH testing procedure here: http://www.wada-ama.org/Documents/S...s_hGH Differential Immunoassays_EN_June10.pdf If that link doesn't work, use google and enter the phrase "wada hgh differential immunoassay"

I know many posters on here will claim I'm a naive fanboy, but I firmly believe that there no platypuses using HGH.

Love that.

I have read the Contador thread and the speculation about his forehead and that is one classic sign of a pituitary adenoma.

I have personally seen bone growth below the gum line due to high use.. So big you could stash a couple of mentors.

The fact is if your body does not need it these side effects will pop up.

Or find a good endocrinologist...

There is nothing wrong with Contador's head  :p seriously though judging by photos alone is something you gotta be careful with.

Agreed and not really trying to go done that rode except to identify what others have viewed as evidence. I am just saying that it is a possible side effect.

Could have sworn that the IOC at least, went from the isoform test to a biomarker test in 2012 (London). Certainly the 20 vs 22KDa isomer ratio test can be beaten easily by anyone that has the appropriate resources, and in reality, neither test is likely to catch people on a regular basis. Not that GH provides benefits even remotely close to some of the other PEDs.

I have significant bone growth below the gum line that I investigated getting surgically removed.
I have not ever taken HGH or steroids.

Did the doctor offer an explanation?

Are your IGF1 levels elevated?
