Yes - but only to find out who just died so I can keep my phone book up to date.

Nice. Obits in 140 characters or less. Also handy for apartment hunting in the city:)

I started on twitter the same day Lance did. I believe I was follower 120 or something. I e-mailed Pete at cyclingfans so he could get the word out.I stopped during the Giro, when he was doing the media boycott. In that Vanity Fair story about the comeback, he had talked about how open and transparent he would be with the press. As usual, he took credit for it in advance. After the Milan stage, he didn't look too good, and decided to take control by only speaking to the press with tweets and the back of the bus videos. Some of the press that had integrity started to ignore his twitter. He heard about it and tweeted something along the lines of I hear some journalists are boycotting my twitter. How's that working out for you. "Welcome to 2009". I dug out the VF quote and sent it to cycling publications. I think it was Cycling Weekly who used it. I haven't followed him since, but have looked up his account a couple of times this week to judge the lies. It gives me severe gastro whatever, so I won't go back.

I don't really have severe gastro whatever. And I did block everyone associated with RS.

I think we now know with pretty high confidence what path Phinney intends to take--if he has not taken it already. It also explains why he went to Armstrong's team.

At the very best he would have to be be so gullible and naive that one would expect he would need help buttering his toast. At the worst his dad has taugh him what it takes to succeed.

Taylor Phinney's twitter tweets are very blunt!
Seems he will not be riding for Astana anytime soon lol.
Spitting in the Soup big time.

Taylor Weenie recognizing who pays the bills.
Stupid comment, but then again, he's only 15 or something.

You mocking a 15year old anonymously on the interwebs is one thing.

But Taylor pointing fingers at Vino is quite another.

Maybe Taylor should include some LOLcat pictures to really zing Vino?
Or maybe Tayler could use some of Berzin's talking potty pics.
Those crack me up too:)

I bet everyone is.

It's OK to admit it ;)

I don't even follow myself on twitter.

And my facebook profile says stop sending friend requests. I am too busy having a life to stop and take the time to glorify/kvetch into a keyboard about it. I don't delete the accounts cause I may one day use the infernal e-contrapments.

And yes, when I set it up, I do have him as one of the people I follow, but I never log into it.

I will occasionally log in and post something utterly banal as a tribute to its dullness.

"Just bought a bunch of AA batteries at BJ's wholesale club."

Lance isn't the only one who needs to get a life.

I know Armstrong holds grudges, but against Cunego? What has he done to be on the infamous black list? I think they've hardly ever even spoke with eachother.

I think they jostled for position at the start of a climb, and the old man threatened the younger upstart. "I'll crush you little Prince" or something.

Classy as ever.

I think some of Cunego's claims about doping in GT's and riding clean probably upset Armstrong, who prefers discussion of doping to go no further than "world's most tested athlete", "never failed a test" etc etc yawn.

The kid is a jerk.

I "tweeted" him if he had read From Lance to Landis?

His response was, "You sound like an idiot and you don't know what you're talking about."

I responded, "have you read the book or not?"

TP: "One word for you, BLOCKED."

No one is that naive.

I laugh when I hear people on the forums say that it must be great to be a Pro Cyclist. Yeah, it must be great to be a hamster on a wheel having to take $hit to keep up.

Even the dumbest Pro cyclist can read the writing on the wall with this Vino victory.

This kid Phinney is a nasty hypocritical little punk. Somehow he thinks it's "all good" to call out Vino as a doper and say "I don't like cheaters" while simultaneously nuthugging Lord Pharmstrong, King of the Dopers.

Seems the little punk has already taken up the cudgel of Omerta Enforcer of his own free will.
