Hmmm...contact info to report a bug?

Couldn't find a way to report this to a webmaster, but as of the moment, the most updated news on the homepage is 15 APRIL 2009. Di Luca is disappointed over Ardennes snub. Good news - Rebellin is on form and hasn't tripped the doping test - yet!

I like the redesign and I'm sure the database errors will be worked out shortly. But please provide a link to contact you about web bugs, etc. - especially after the redesign!

That's happened as a result of the new functionality relating to editions which is yet to roll out.

What's the back story here?

Now that the jury has returned a verdict--pretty much unanimous condemnation of every single aspect of the site change--let's try to find out who is responsible.

What's the back story behind the changes?

Who is Future Publishing? Who are the principals? Who is mandating the new look?

What is the relationship between BikeRadar and CyclingNews? When did FP take over CN?

It sounds as if some of you know the answers to these questions. I don't. And I'd really like to know. I might not be asking exactly the right questions, but maybe this will prime the pump and eventually we'll get it aired out.

There are individual people behind this. We want to know who they are and what they think they're accomplishing with this trashing of a valuable information resource.

Anyone with useful info, please share...

Found this prophetic blog in my search for the who/what/why of the downfall of cyclingnews:

I just read an article on cyclingnews.com that stated that Knapp Communications (the owner of the site) has just sold the site to Future plc.

The article states that Future plc has a vested interest in the bicycle industry - already owning multiple cycling print magazines so they will be good stewards. The article also goes on to explain that things will remain the same at the site - the same writes, editors, types of stories and the like. But I think we've all heard that song before.

My hope is that Future doesn't mess up the best cycling site on the Web and drive my traffic elsewhere. Currently I go to the site multiple times a day - even when there are no big races happening. If it takes a turn for the worst I'll just have to go find another source for my cycling info fix.

Just to hedge my bets please add comments about where you get your news when you do not use Cyclingnews.com.

Hope my cynicism is unfounded.

I actually do like the new look and am willing to bear with some bugs. We'll see when they've been worked out. Here is an interesting one:
