I gotta say I wasn't really expecting much from those guys so yeah, they far exceeded my expectations. And for obvious reasons I can't really grow side-burns! :p

He really is nothing but a big child! :D

Wonder how many jokes will be made over the theme Two dimensional personality/ being wooden.

Cardboard?

About as much as could be expected from them. Thor usually wins a stage in every Tour he enters, so no surprise to see him pick up 2 stage wins here. Cavendish usually ****s up his first sprint in a GT, so again, no surprise to see Tyler winning a flat stage. They had one of the best squads for the team time trial, so no surprise that they won it. They were even a bit lucky with Bernie crashing at the start otherwise HTC would have probably won.

So no, I'm not surprised at all. The manner in which Thor won his stages was perhaps surprising, but let's not forget that it was from a break away both times :)

Can't believe so many people think Garmin did better than could be expected. Sure, they screwed up the classics, but this proves that it's harder to win a classic than it is to win a stage in the Tour de France.

they had a perfect tour as far as they were a team without a podium contendor

stage wins
yellow jersey
team comp
top ten.

but the poll questions are a bit complicated for me, i much prefer the 1-10 system. too many words for someone with a 12 second attention span. :D

They won, but not with one of their leaders :)

They still screwed up Milan-San Remo, de Ronde van Vlaanderen, Gent-Wevelgem, E3 Prijs Vlaanderen, Liège-Bastogne-Liège(Ok, they didn't have any favorites for this one) and the Schelde prijs.

Cancellara was alone in his classics, so no surprise that he didn't win a big classic. Garmin on the other hand was 20 times stronger to say the least. Besides, Leopard obviously failed as well. But that's what you get for signing friends.

I find their results in the classics disappointing despite their Paris-Roubaix victory.
