Why is one of my all time favorite cyclists, Oscar Sevilla suspected or anyone else riding in Columbia? Is it age, ability, or some jealous politics of cycling?

it is not cheating until you get caught. remember that italian guy at the olimpic games; how about basso; al jet and lampre company; how about levi lepheimer and LA; just because you have been mediocre does not mean you are clean. the bigger cycling is in a country the dirtier it becomes competition levels are raised and you need to get an edge somehow.

First Valverde, Contador, and now Mosquera. What is this country doing to their cyclists and is it worse then what other cycling federations are doing?

Some non-Spanish dopers:

Armstrong, Riis, Landis, Hamilton, Basso, Ullrich, etc...

Probably there just seem to be a lot of Spanish dopers because a lot of professional cyclists are Spanish.

So, Fuentes has admitted to doping athletes (including athletics, tennis, and cycling). Has been caught twice by the authorities. Has threatened to reveal the "heroes" that he doped. Then the Spanish authorities do nothing to him. He is allowed to continue doping athletes.

Add in the interference by the Spanish President (and others) in the Contador case. The obvious special treatment Contador got from the RFEC. The lies told by Lissavezky (that only cyclists were involved in the "Fuentes list"). The cover up of the Fuentes list by the Spanish Judiciary. The number of Spanish athletes caught doping. The number of Spanish athletes having suspicious circumstances around them. The number of suspicious "sports doctors" in Spain.

Nah. The "golden age of Spanish sports" is perfectly legitimate.

None of them have legally tested positive. Therefore they are innocent. Bad examples.

How for man's sake can he be up and working for a football club now?

This new media-attention for Fuentes sounds like bad news for Real, Barca and Aldirto, i.e. for all those who would have loved Operation Puerto to blow over quietly.

i suspect the culture of doping is strong in these countries, even at amateur level. the reason they aren't front and centre stage is the performances of their top pros has been so awful recently. quite encouraging?!

Valv is currently serving a 2 year ban. Legally as approved by CAS and i hope if Contador hasn't proved anything in his case apart from he is Spanish he'll get his ban.

Well, Valverde's case is everything except recent. And I think it's just a coincidence that Mosquera and Contador test positif that close after each other.
