Well theres probably another 2 weeks or so of cross racing before it gets ridiculously unbearable even by cross standards.

Then snowboarding or skiing every day until spring. Throw in some running and if I'm feeling really ambitious actually get on the trainers with some friends so I don't totally suck come May.

I am really struggling already without having some racing to talk about on this forum or an interesting issue to talk about. So I need some help! How do you cope during the off season?

Watching cyclo cross on Sporza =/

The Hitch: Thinking of all those cool races really makes me more 'frustated'. Specially when I consider that it will take another 5 months before it starts....

I'm kinda having a hard time. Not REALLY a hard time, but damn... I miss the races badly allready. This is my first year of complete cycling addiction and it started at the end of the Giro. The epic Giro and finding this forum(lack of cycling interest by friends makes this my cycling talk shot) really activated my addiction and it really wants more cycling atm :)

The upcoming months I will look for a nice used racing bike to see if racing myself will be something I will be able to keep up. I'm sure I like it, but I'm also kinda lazy and I've tried plenty of sports, but I'm usually not persistant enough to keep it up for a long time. Allthough I think with my current interest in cycling I give it a good chance of succeeding;)

So what I'm gonna do till the season starts again? Well the usual stuff.
I think most of the hours I spend on watching cycling will go into gaming really. During the cycling season I do not really lower my social activities allthough I do avoid certain times and dates ofcourse.

I'm very jealous of you Aussies atm. You can watch cycling during the 'worse' months and enjoy the summer in the off-season. Allthough having to get up in the middle of the night to watch all those races isn't really something to cheer about :p

There are a few things I've planned to do this winter like improving my language skills, reading some interesting books, watching some football games with my dad and skiing with my mom. I also need to focus on school at some point because I'll need good marks to get a scholarship abroad.

Definately, had a lot of trouble adjusting to PES 11 but am liking it now. The new dribble system is very cool too.
