I was stoked that i could get the tour down under on some channels, but its a 30 minute program that pretty much puts the whole stage into 15 minutes then some interviews/commercials, is there any channel or place on the net that has full coverage of races? especially the ones with Phill and Paul on the job?

cheers

Ack! Not Phil and Paul! Well, they can be entertaining.

I get most live video feeds from Steephill TV (http://www.steephill.tv/) or Cyclingfans (http://www.cyclingfans.com/). But I have not seen any feeds for the TDU. The major races like the GTs (e.g. http://www.leTour.fr and Giro have their own) have their own websites which generally have links to live feeds.

If you have cable in US the old Versus is now Universal Sports I think (http://www.universalsports.com/search/results.htmx?q=cycling). They will have the Paul and Phil show; or Paul, Bob, and Phil. I don't recall the channel#, but on mine it's somewhere around 744 (or 37).

In the Netherlands we either watch NOS with Mart Smeets, Herbert Dijkstra or Maarten Ducrot and during the Tour de France Michael Boogerd.

Or we watch Sporza with Belgian commentary which is awesome.

Or we watch Eurosport, but I hate Eurosport ot watch cycling on.

I rely on British Eurosport for the majority of the season. Otherwise cyclingtorrents.nl FTW.

I find it very amusing when Paul does the little interview with Voss in the end of every highlights package.

Here in Québec, we use to have only the Tour de France and GP Québec-Montréal coverage, but this year, we will have the 3 Grand Tour, the 5 monuments, Paris-Nice, Tirreno, Le Dauphiné, Flêche Wallone and the two canadian races. :D

But to answer your question, sportlemon.tv presents a lot of races, although not the TDU

Motorized dish so I can get all that makes tv. I don't need a commentator to tell me what's happening, so I'm not bothered which language it turns up in.

Same as others...I use cyclingfans.com and steephill.tv

I really like sporza and during the Giro I love the feed on Gazzetta

I forgot one... CyclingNews.com Forum threads!!!

Here's a good example. I was interested in following the recent Australian road cycling championship with all the great Aussic and Tassie talent. There were absolutely no live feeds available in my area. CyclingNews.com had live coverage (ticker) but the updates were only coming in about every 10 minutes... and the race was in the last 15 KMS!!! (fact... CyclingNews.com update with 10km to go, next update came at 1.5km to go... seriously?) So I just stayed tuned to the CN Forum thread for the Aussie RR champsionship, which was receiving new posts/updates about every minute by a host of different forum members who were watching somewhere.

CyclingNews.com was at a real disadvantage though, being outgunned probably 30 to 1, or more. Hehehe. WAY TO GO FORUMITES!

In Norway we have TV2 which shows all important cycling races in HD on its main channel (Giro, TDF, monuments) and several lesser races on its sports channel. Almost every race is shown, so I barely ever have to use streams anymore. Unfortunately they don't show TDU this years though, which is kind of weird since EBH is riding and I'm pretty sure they have the license to show it.
