I don't have a problem with the tour being popular to people on the edges of the sport. I think cycling is too cliquey and tribal as it is. It should be more inclusive. When lots of people watch Euro 2012 who don't normally follow football, they're not treated like idiots. If more people want to join in the fun, that's fine with me.
