How to tighten a hollowtech II crankarm

These bearings need no side load, so firm fingertip torque on the crank bolt to eliminate sideways movement is plenty. To test for movement, I get a firm grip on the right arm and yank it a couple of times. If there's movement, tighten by a few degrees and try again. Then spin the cranks--if there's an obvious bind, you need to loosen up a bit.
