Huge TdF stage URL problems/dead links etc

Stages 1 to 9 are fine. Then the rest day causes a problem ....

Stage 10's URL is:

http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/96th-tour-de-france-gt/stages/stage-11

which is highly confusing, particularly as there's no mention it's stage 10 on the page until the smaller map pics. These pics link (using the standard nomenclature used in the first 9 stages) to a page which doesn't exist:

http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/96th-tour-de-france-gt/stages/stage-10/map

Now we move to stage 11 whose URL is confusingly:

http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/96th-tour-de-france-gt/stages/stage-12

when we click on the small maps they go to:

http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/96th-tour-de-france-gt/stages/stage-11/map

which exists but is the page for the maps on stage 10. Are we on 12, 11 or 10?

This problem continues with the +1 naming and thus wrong links until the second rest day. Now subsequent stages follow a +2 URL nomenclature e.g.Stage 18 is actually:

http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/96th-tour-de-france-gt/stages/stage-20

and the maps link to: http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/96th-tour-de-france-gt/stages/stage-20

which are the maps for Stage 16. So stage 18 has a URL stating stage 20 and links to maps for stage 16 (as the stage 16 has a stage 18 url).

-----------

There's also the odd error such as Stage 12 has the last 5km profiles for both itself and the previous stage.

Yes, the stage URLs maybe a little confusing when rest days are entered as stages, but to be honest, in my experience only the minority would ever really notice them.

It does seem like you are also reporting that some of the content is in the wrong place. Forget about the URLs and what they probably should be for a sec - are you saying some of the maps associating with the wrong stage regardless of the URL?

If so please let the team know at cyclingnews@cyclingnews.com

Stage 3 results are not showing any times. PLEASE fix this. I've loved cyclingnews.com for years. I'd hate to have to go elsewhere to read results.

A fix for this is ready to be rolled out. This issue affects some versions of Internet Explorer only.

Thanks for the above, but now there's problem with the stage 4 results. The entire section with individual rider finish times is missing. There are a lot of riders that got dropped that I'd like to know individual times on.

Hi Tenacious,
I've looked and looked for the individual rider results for today's stage but the organisers have yet to post them. When they do, rest assured they will be added to the page.
Sorry for the delay - that one's out of our hands.
