It used to be we could make fun of politicians in a satirical way. Unfortunately this changed as politicians nowadays behave in a way no one can match them in terms of making fun of them, as they are doing too good job for themself.

Now, as for this forum and from my personal experience indeed Trump is in general not allowed here, both ways i guess, making fun of him or praising him. Now if that is a good thing or not i don't know. It's strange world we live in and i guess the measures are hence desperate too.

I would like to point out that I was doing neither. I was merely pointing out the limits to his - incoming - executive powers.
Also, despite the fact that he once had a bike race named after him, I don't think he cares much about cycling.

It's not a case of measures being desperate.
This is a cycling forum: we don't need arguments about, or promotion of, political, religious or other areas of controversy that have nothing to do with the subject matter of the shared interest here. I am sure you can find other fora on the internet where such subjects are very much ad rem.

I totally agree, but I can tell you a fun fact about Polish cycling forum.
On polish cycling forum we have thread about politics and many people (including owner) writes many more messages about politics than about cycling so I think talking about politics on cycling forum is first step to destroy forum and divide users.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Lefevere is retiring. It will give him more time to run the Mou accounts. They're both known for oversharing.

Mou could have died a legend, but he sadly proved to like the attention a bit too much.

There was a politics thread on this forum but it was a dark environment.

Which is a large part of the reason that it is not allowed here.

why the hell is he banned? now that trump is back can we undo all the nonsense and let him back in?
If Trump can get reinstated to Twitter (and also the White House), Mou can get reinstated into Cyclingnews forums

You might say that Mou hasn't done anything to rectify the reasons he got banned, and has in fact got even worse but, neither has Trump and it worked for him

Knowing Lefevre there is no way he can string so many sentences together without making grammatical errors.

I find him highly amusing tbh, but just that.
I could make an account all about Nikola Jokic (best current basketballplayer) and tweet predictions about him 12 times a day. And then when some of those inevitably come through I can tell everyone: "I told you so".
If you take the best athlete at his sport and tweet about how he will dominate, it's a bit like playing Mario Kart on 50cc. It's just not impressive nor hard to predict.

I confided in one guy in 9 months to get their thoughts on whether I was right, unfortunately it seems like somebody else now knows. I was curious to see if he could get some money out of it, but apparently it's going to get out so before it does properly, here you go lads, here is your mou, pretty certain it is anyway. You can call this one a Cyclingnews exclusive. No hate to the guy, was a good run.

So "Mou" was just paraphrasing Johan Bruyneel... How did you find the comment?
