I believe you mean "putz" in your reference to that ******bag Coolhand. WHY of why is he still there?!

Yeah. I did mean putz. Coolhand over on the RBR doping forum is one of the biggest dooshes of all time. Did you know he is actually a lawyer? He was contacted by the Armstrong PR machine years ago thanking him for his fair moderation. It only solidified that what he was doing was for good. I don't care how much the guy has come around. His public lies about people were disgusting. Once a d--k always a d--k. This one is for you Coolhand, you dooshy dbagg.

The best news is that the story is going off in the main stream media. Team LA just cannot control this through paid bloggers. They are trying but IT'S TOO BIG!!! Tygart done a great job with the 200 pager, and the several delays to raise the anticipation. And you also Race with your seeding here and there and everywhere I suspect :) Congrats to all you guys who have been waiting and building for this day to come for many many years, and it's not over yet. But please do reserve some energy to UCI also, that's where the lasting changes need to be...

I'm sure even Tyra will come around eventually.

Yeah, but if you look now he's making out like a believer in the cause of "clean" sport. Making out like he knew it all along.

Big props to Mike for being one of the first to stand up and tell the truth, and to take on the bully, even in the face of tremendous adversity. Also of course to Betsy, Frankie, Emma, Greg, and the others who did the same. Wherever you may stand, hold your head up high and stand tall today. You are the real heroes in this.

I think he is posting at Slowtwitch. I want to know what happened to Hombre. That guy was hilarious.

Campy Bob took a turn for the worse. His posts on cyclingforums are rather pathetic.
wow! blasts from the past :D

seriously, though, too many people to thank.

all those who fought the good fight, especially those who had the guts to come into forums and talk and fight for the truth.

(though ElizaB and i tended to get into cat-fights even when i agreed with her  girls will be girls).

Mike, chapeau to you, mate. you told your story, never wavered, and took abuse for it at times -- all with utmost grace.

a special shout-out to D-Queued, who held my hand at the beginning of my search for truth (yes, i wore a yellow bracelet once, bought the first year they were introduced on the champs, but that was more because i almost died rather than any homage to Lance).

and, Race Radio, who patiently filled in the blanks for me when i still had niggly questions.

lastly, a thank you to Floyd. if it hadn't been for him and his goofy sense of humour bravely (stupidly?) going into a forum, it would have taken me a lot longer to set foot into the the dark side... Floyd stood up for the truth -- even if it was his own selective truth -- and his tenacious spirit started this whole ball rolling...

one and all, merci.

Absolutely.

Betsy
Emma O'Reilly
Stephen Swart
Mike Anderson
Bassons
Kimamge
Walsh
Ballestre
etc

lots of people swam against the tide and suffered for it.

Chapeau:)

I joined march 2009 and a whole new world opened up, I had been following cycling for 2 decades as if blindfolded.
It was hard, it was depressing, none of my ride mates understood or wanted too.

But that is insignificant to those above who did the right thing, who stood up and suffered.
And thanks to the veterans of The Clinic, what commitment , I cannot quantify.

This has been a journey , a quest , thanks for the insight.

Q: will the be a "out patients " so members of the clinic can resume lives in regular society ?

Thanks Angus

When Lance "won" the 93 World Pro race my very first reaction was " doped to the gills"...have never thought otherwise.

Having been barred from forums..slagged down so many times and literately abused, even had my mental health questioned, it is indeed a great day to be able to say , " told you so".

Cheers to all those that have worked so hard to bring this about.

And to everyone of those cheating *******s that stole careers and still do ..even the " nice guys"..thanks for nothing.

I can relate as well. :)

Vindication will really be though when the likes of McQuaid and all the others who allowed this to happen fall.

It would be nice to think that the media might start to reflect on its choices and actions over the last 13 years.

Thank you to everyone who has made writing the true history of the sport a possibility, and not just a distant dream!

And thank you to everyone who did not allow the worst cheat in the history of sport get away with it!

I think I can safely say Lance's total and humiliating fall from grace is one of the biggest stories in the world right now. The below link is from the Sydney Morning Herald. The USADA revelations were the 3rd most read story of the day there. Not bad for the other side of the world. Congrats to Mike for being a part of seeing justice finally served, you must be chuffed! :D

Thanks to all of the people who have worked hard at this-- and often to great personal and or professional peril.

Betsy and Emma are at the top of this list.

It has been great to see the growing level of support for the Truth. Now is a good time for me and you to say...

I told you so.

Sincerely,
Mike Anderson

P.S. I knew the tide had turned when the letters of gratitude exceeded the letters of hate and disdain.

yes you did! Great avatar pick of minus 7. But what letters of gratitude are you referring? I must have missed something.

I might have been the one who got Hombre to stop posting here - but he deserves special mention and graititude.

They came on here in 09 and stated that PmcQ had spoken about the donation -I suspected they were making that up (still do), so I requested a link and did some checking.
I was about to come on here and call BS on their post, when I found the link to the audio of Pat in 07 saying they had accepted $100,000. Which meant there were 2 donations at 2 different times.
Fun times.

I've received e-mail from people who I haven't seen for years as well as lots of perfect strangers, thanking me for speaking out. When I left Austin nearly six years ago and immigrated to NZ, I left with my tail between my legs after being derided, publicly ridiculed, and ignored by many who were once my friends. It was very tough as I am not so very thick-skinned (thick-headed no doubt!). Getting hate-letters, for the record, is very unsettling.

I am so grateful to the thickest (skinned) of all, Betsy and David Walsh, who are both monumentally tough and determined. Without their examples, I would have scurried into a cave and hid away.
Of course, I would be remiss if I failed to mention the anonymous RaceRadio, whose knowledge and righteousness helped make this place an invaluable resource---I presume---for investigators.

Thanks Mike. You guys are real heroes who withstood enormous pressure and told the truth helping bring down the biggest sporting fraud in history.

Congrats to you, Mike Anderson and all the others who felt empowered by your convictions to tell the truth despite all the awful things that have happened to you as a result.

I vote Race Radio as the director of the next ESPN "30 for 30" documentary on the Lance Armstrong story.

thank you for telling!!!

Congratulations to each person-in the CN forums- and more than anything-all the key players out there who committed to expose the truth to the full length-this victory is for you & I humbly salute you for your invaluable contribution to the sport.

cheers.

Chapeau Mike, Let's hope Lance doesn't move to NZ following his great fall. Hope you stay in Welly too.

I thought of this oft-cited gem once I saw the news yesterday

"When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always."

I understand now. When I read that initially my mindset was thinking the letters of gratitude were from LA to someone. "LA? Gratitude?... what an oximoron" was my thought. I was not thinking of you as recipient. Yes, I recall seeing many posts expressing gratitude to you for your stance. And I was one of the many! Anyways, thanks for the reply. Ciao.
