If you were Vaughters, who would ride P-R?

Garmin will have lots of good classics riders this year. If you were Vaughters (assuming all in form/healthy) who would be your ideal team?

I think: Hushovd, Haussler, Hammond, Klier, Maaskant, Vansummeren, Rasch, Millar. Unfortunately without Sep Vanmarcke :)

Vanmarcke is way to young for P-R with this kind of squad. It will be a learning year for him. I expect good things in the future though..

Only Hushovd has a realistic chance of winning it, so Hushovd as captain. And well, the rest as domestiques. If captain crashes, try Van Summeren or Klier or something.

I don't follow Haussler, so don't know that much about him.

Hushovd for sure. Behind him is Hammond and Haussler perhaps also in slightly protected roles and the rest as domestiques. I took Lloyd or Rasch instead of Millar because I think Millar has other races he could be doing rather than helping a team of this strength in the cobbles.

Its more of a "who gets left out" poll. I want to know why some left Hushovd out??

They will have a very, very strong P-R team. I've said it before, if Haussler gets back to 2009 form he'll win some big races.

If he's competitive at Qatar, he'll win either Flanders or Roubaix.

Go Heinrich. All arounder, powerful and a real guy, like Zabel and Cav. I hope he overcomes his obstacles, which are major, and takes his rightful place as a champion.
