I'm bullish on Hindley's chances for a good performance.
If Roglic has problems, I can see Hindley fight for the win.

We already have a Giro poll and Roglic isn't that superior to the rest. Imo those 2 threads could be merged.
The poll thread demanded more polls.

Rogla got more than 60 % of the vote, so it's more informative to see who the 2nd choice is. And now Hindley is a named poll option.

Voted Carapaz, because that's what I wish for after Bardet, who is not in the poll. And no, the Vino option isn't what I want for Bardet.
Maybe we should do a poll just for how Bardet will fare.

Voted for Ayuso but actually really rooting for Tiberi. The Giro desperately needs new Italian GC hopefuls so I really hope one of the young guys develops into a true contenders

Other than Rogla and Ayuso, who are people's podium picks?

Mine are Adam Yates and Derek Gee.

(In hindsight, this poll would have been better as a multiple answers poll about podium picks, but I didn't expect Ayuso to be rated so highly by so many)

I'd say it's between Landa, A. Yates and Tiberi. But I also think that Gee is a real contender. It's very open this year (probably is most years tbh).

Personally I don't rate Ayuso that highly. I think this poll is the result of "20% chance" rider living in the land of "10% chance" riders. There's a lot of people I can see being best of the rest (or perhaps even beating Roglic. I'm not that certain he will win) but Ayuso feels like the very clear default option.

In a pre-race poll for the 2025 Giro d’Italia, fans overwhelmingly back Juan Ayuso to be the top General Classification finisher among non-Roglič contenders, securing 46.3% of votes. Mikel Landa follows with 13%, while Derek Gee surprisingly garners 7.4%. Notably, Simon Yates receives no votes, suggesting low expectations despite his past Grand Tour pedigree. Applying to college was stressful, so I decided to buy admission essay help from Academized.
