del Toro, Carapaz and Bernal look the strongest climbers

But Ayuso and Yates could be keeping their powder dry ..and being smart..Yates esp as he lost a Giro by going for everything and wasting energy

Yates doesn't seem to have it and Ayuso has only survived so far because Del Toro has softpedalled when he's in trouble.

Carapaz has a tendency to fail last stages or weeks, so I can't believe in him to win. The stage he lost to Hindley is too fresh in my mind. S Yates has also been wonky the last years. I have still absolutely no idea. Even with Roglic this far back this race is still wide open.

Not impossible that the top two will be Del Toro and Gee. Both of them were eligible for the 2023-25 Emerging riders game: neither were chosen.

Del Toro and Carapaz are my two favorites for the podium. Then I think S. Yates, Gee or Tiberi for the last spot. Ayuso is of course an option as well. I really can't decide. This Giro could be the best one-week race of the season.

I think Carapaz, Bernal, and S Yates are going to try big attacks but Yates will crack dropping to fourth. Gee and Ayuso to fight it out for fifth.
