Although I'm happy about it I don't understand why Kwiatkowski attacked so early. He looks very strong, he is explosive and he would probably be one of the top 3 sprinters in the nibali group.

the question is can valverde or anyone else stay with him? even if they do he ll drop them on the following 2km climb.

I really cannot see how nibali will not win this race.

No chance for him to stay close to the real climbers on Civiglo so it was a good attempt though with little chances of success.

he looks strong but made the calculation that he was not going to be able to stay with Nibali and perhaps valverde on civiglio so he tries to anticipate them

no mechanical... now they are on flat , sormano is 25%, probably he slightly paced himself or just cannot match nibali

just ignore him, kwiatko tried good but now is game over for him
we will see how others will be able to stay with Nibali and we will see what rosa will do, he will launch attack
