CyclistAbi still tries his hardest while the rest of the Roglic crew have tampered their expectations accordingly

Its obvious that Roglic won't be anywhere near the three best riders.

1. Pog
2. Remco
3. Del Toro
He will be with the best riders behind Pogi in Ganda (he is in much decent shape than you and others claim) but he will blew up trying to follow Remco in the flat due to the legnth of the course and the crazy power and aerodinamic of Remco there.

A similar perfomance to Ayuso the other day in France I would say.

If they had any brains the non-UAE guys would commandeer my tactic of allowing Del Toro to go ahead and not chase to sow dissention in the ranks like they accidently did to Vingegaard on that Vuelta stage in 2023, you think Pogacar wants to gift a monument?

No, Pogacar will close that gap and still win. Del Toro will be pissed, but that has no effect on Pogacar, just like Ayuso never had any effect on Pogacar.

I mean as long as Rogla is sucked on their back wheel and doing 0 work, that is fine with me. Plus if there would really be such combo then best to try out 2 on 2 already (teams RBH vs UAE), no need to wait for next year. And lets see on how it goes.

UAE won't even allow Del Toro to do that most likely.

But I do think GTO is to just let Pogacar ride and not even trying to look like you're trying to beat him. Let him win by 28 minutes.

Has there ever been any race in cycling history where there was as big a favourite? Kelly in PN, EM at MsR, Cav in a sprint in Paris?

In recent time, did anyone really think someone would beat Valverde in 2017 Flèche Wallone (without Alaphilippe and Gilbert riding if I'm not mistaken)? And maybe in 2016, too.

For the first time in my 27 years of being a cycling fan, I will not be watching a monument. We all know exactly what's going to happen, and who will win. I'm not wasting anymore of my time watching the same result.

Felt worse last year IMO. I don't know why, but I feel like there's 0,5% that someone actually does something.

Last year Lombardia was very bleak. But then again last year was horrible for the monuments. 2025 is an improvement.

The prophet in me says that this will be decided a the finish line.
The fine sorting quite before, though.

Crazy thing probably to piss off Del Toro is being penciled in to race Piemonte tomorrow..

This is the one mounument I will watch mainly for the scenery, and who will get 2nd place.
I like watching Lombardia for the scenery too. It's always such a pretty race. Also, one year someone will beat Pogacar, so I'll keep watching just in case this is the year it gets exciting.
