The Wolfpack it is.
Didn't see that one coming.

Wonder how the chemistry with Remco will turn out. In the national squad as juniors they were quite ok with eachother.

Really? I had thought that to be a good fit, but then nothing happened...
Sounds like a good decision, obviously he has a lot of talent, and if it doesn't work out or not so soon there are other riders at Quickstep on whom is more pressure.

I think Ilan knows he still has some steps to take, yet Remco also knows Ilan is a pure talent. There should be mutual respect, while both understand the current hierarchy. I don't think that would be the problem. I know Ilan made it clear that he also has his own ambitions. As far as character and chemistry goes, i think they should be rather compatible. They are opposites. A shy, calm, silent guy, a thinker vs an impulsive extrovert. I think both would do well rubbing off on each other, because they both have traits the other one is lacking.

But logic... what was wrong with BR's brilliant suggestion of "The Wild Wolf"?
I honestly had not seen that post. But to be honest, i'm not a fan of calling every DQT rider a wolf, or tie him to that monniker. Also, he's not wild at all, rather the opposite, so as only a reference to his name, not a fan of that either.

What about "the wildly tame wolf"?

I can understand you're not taking that title (since I also don't like it when people want to change my thread titles for worse ones :p ), but what do you mean you had not seen my post? Aren't you waiting for my every post every night?

True that. If anything, I see Benoot joining Ineos. Wouldn't be a bad choice to put next to Hayter during his first cobble and hilly classics.
It would certainly be his most lucrative career option to become a domestique deluxe similar to Kwiatkowski but with less ability to win races himself due to lack of punch.

Pidcock, Hayter, Kwiatkowski and Benoot would make a very solid all round classics unit.
