only after the camera zoomed in could you tell that it was an astana rider

I think most people were fooled by the other rider on the side of the road. Great call and great finish. I was very happy to see him win.

Well, the shouting was probably in Dutch, but I can't think of a plausible translation to Dutch that makes it sound like 'Wouter', but maybe someone else can.

no it's not, by the DS saying that, he and Iljo knew that is how Wout talked to Iljo, in whatever language or translation. from that perspective, the sentence is grammatically correct.

I too loved the hug the Accent rider (Belgian) gives him after the win, you can tell that the peloton likes and respects Iljo.
