Yeah, makes sense. Families would have been worried with their riders out there for one thing. It's respectful...Such a sad moment.

Let's wait to hear what happened first before calling for a change in the rules, Australian drivers don't have a good history when it comes to respectful driving when it comes to cyclists, I've had far to many close calls on the roads and have actually been hit on a couple of occasions.

I know full well how bad Aussie drivers are when around cyclists - Many endurance races have allocated rest times and race times
