I'm so confused cause if true that means Lotto will be with 8 in Australia given Fox and Thompson are already on the continent. It's possible Van Eetvelt is not riding Evans, but even then, are you really sending someone else on vacation there for 2 weeks?
Veirstoffer will start Oman and Almeria as well, so I guess it could make sense to leave Australia early. He posted a reel from the airport, but hard to say if Zimmermann is on there or not. Those closer to the desk seem to be Taco, Rutsch, LvE and Taminiaux.

One interesting bit from the presentation yesterday was that the team will do more races in France now, by the way, according to Bouet.

Yeah I saw that, we'll have to wait and see I guess. Bit weird

And yes, they'll do more Coupe de France races given Intermarché is a main sponsor now. They'll do it with a mix of Taminiaux, some young guys (Grisel, Kristoff, etc.) and some devo's.

LVE way too much, don't expect much during Giro if he's racing so much and will be burned out before TDF starts.
It's really not too much, that prep for the giro would be considered a low number of race days 10-15 years ago.

If he skips cadel race it's 3 weeks from TDU to uae tour, enough time for a training camp, and then between tirreno and Ardennes is a long period away from racing

We’ll see if he fades in the third week of the Giro

Even if he does it doesn't mean you're right yk. Could be plenty of other reasons for fading in the 3rd week, one being the fact that he's never been good for 3 weeks straight in a GT, hell he only finished one (his first one where he got sick mid GT),

Starting to race mid January on a different continent doesn’t help

De Schuyteneer seems to be getting the early-career De Lie farming schedule again. Curious to see if he can show more than his rather lacklustre 2025.

He had positioning problems mainly, it will get better with some experience, I also expect more this season

So the mystery about who is actually going to start in Down Under still isn't completely solved. They are with 8 in Down Under (I confirmed Lennert is leaving Australia early so he can recover from jetlag in time before UAE Tour), Veistroffer isn't on the start list for now and I heard that he indeed is a reserve, but the weird thing is that Veistroffer himself was on the team presentation today and told the press a few days ago he was going to ride. I hope the team realizes they can't ride with 8

Anyways Lennert is feeling great apparently.

What does that mean? 😅

That he likes being a bit too heavy

In all seriousness, think he's still riding with a brace, he went over 1000 watt yesterday for the first time since his accident tho, so there's slight improvement, but he's not going all out

EDIT: brace is actually gone, riding with a taped in ankle now.

He never really had a great TT but expected a bit more of him today.

Never going to be his strong suit (he's lighter than people think and he isn't that aero either), but today was definitely worse than expected imo. Should've at least been around Buitrago and Yates imo. He apparently said his numbers were ok tho and thought he mainly lost time in the corners, but it seems that he lost less time in the last part with the corners than on the straight part so I don't think think that was the reason. We'll have to see on thursday if this didn't mean anything or if his form just isn't there yet after being out of the peloton for so long.

Any altitude yet or only before the Ardennes/giro?
