What now? What now? What now?

Faced all the big boys, and won going away. Dominated. Wasn't close. Mountain bikers can't even come close. Makes 'em look pathetic.

pwned.

apologises, I must be corrected.... Lance is the best dirt road racer in whatever state the Leaderville 100 is run. yep, he beat a guy past his prime and a bunch of no names... he's the best!

Last year he raced the Leadville 100 an came second to Wiens by quite a big margin. This year he did some training and a couple of GT's and beat Wiens by 25 minutes. It shows just how much Armstrong must have put into the training for this year.

This thread should have been called: Who's the greatest MTBer ever? I am guessing the name Lance was thrown in there for sensationalism and to instigate argument.

a ridiculous thread started by a troll.

I'm a fan of Lance, but to name him with the best of the best in mountain biking is idiotic. He won a state-level race. Big deal. And a fire road climb race. Again, so what? If he trots out to a World Cup race and takes on Sauser et al, then we can talk.

Best user name in the peloton. By far.

I'm amazed at how many people took the bait in this thread. Clearly, the thread starter wasn't being serious, I mean, as if Lance is even close to the greatest.. it's laughable, so I laughed my a-r-s-e off when I saw this thread!!

Lance, best MTB ever

Not even in the running, I have worked on the MTB circuit, he lacks bike handling skills when up against the true MTB gurus, What he has is pure strength. Sorry to say that does not make you the best..
