Nice win by Alex Aranburu and some nice open racing involved.

Vingegaard did manage to stay close to Roglič, beyond that Roglič was more or less left isolated today. Other teams offered assistance, as they had common goals. This likely being a tactical decision and hopefully it pays off tomorrow.

Pogačar attacking, as the peloton was still strong, this was likely a tactical move and not a real attempt, after using McNulty and trying to get Roglič to waste some energy.

All in all i would say no real damage was done, tomorrow that is likely to change and we will see movement in GC.

I doubt Yates would feel comfortable Carapaz going for the stage win tomorrow. Tomorrow is a GC selection day. GC guys will need all the support they can get from their team.

So many good muro riders for tomorrow: Yates, Roglic, Pogacar, Fugllsang, Woods, Valverde, Gaudu, Kelderman...

It's hard to pick a winner.

Not expecting much bar what looks like an uphill sprint tomorrow or a late move from someone far down, but stage 3/4 and obviously 6 could be decent, especially if Pog feels as strong as at TA and willing to go longer distance.
Because of the bottle he throwed as shown on Chris Horner's video, dont know about any implications but it seem to be the same case as with Schär?

164th yesterday, last today... maybe being the only rider to do this right after the Ronde didn't turn out to be a great idea for Grøndahl!? :D

Been completely out of form which is a worry for the team.

Yates didn't look too good yesterday. Didn't respons to any attacks and was further back than he usually is. Let's see if it was just a bad day.

Had to share this one here. Look at the sharpness of Roglič. Hope to win today's mountain top finish.

Yates needs his team to bring him to the foot of the last climb, then it's up to him. I really doubt Carapaz can bring any assistance on a 15% gradient... So I don't think Yates would mind if Carapaz goes, let's say on penultimate climb.

You need to consider that this final climb is very short. 316 meters of elevation gain. At this gradient, this means just about 9 minutes of climbing, or few seconds more. I think this is not enough long for Yates. Might be wrong

It reads punch it. Roglič currently likely being the best puncheur i would give him a slight edge over the competition.

P.S. The team will need to offer better assistance, compared to stage 2.
