So an interesting showdown between the Slovenian duo at the very end of the stage. Poga attacked twice but Primoz was strong enough to keep with him and (as usual) attacked himself in the last hundreds of meters. Pogi gained another 4 seconds (Primoz didn't seem to bother) but he will need to drop Primoz to win - anyway stage 6 is looking promising. It's really hard to imagine any other stage race winner when these Slovenians take part (this may change when Belgian T-1000 is back to full powers).

Yes, we did. Every time Pogacar withdrew his efforts, riders from behind came back because Roglic wasn't willing to contribute.

Roglic underestimated the distance when he went for it in the end, or perhaps the road width, or just Pogacar? Anyway, it's all Poggla show now...

Our Slovenian duo Pog and Rog is just 10 levels above others. Tactic games between them, so small gaps to others. But this is so great. Winter dreams are becoming reality again.

It was an extremely bold prediction of you though
He couldn't sustain the effort until the finish, so he took a breather for a couple of seconds and then used the last bit of his sprint to get 3rd.
