Rogla losing the jersey laughing and saying everthing went as it should today. I think he's happy he's getting some extra sleep tonight :D

I had my suspicions about Roglic since last year, but seeing how good he went in the Vuelta kind of confused me. But now I am doubtful about attaining his Tour triumph. He Is just one more in the big crowd of riders. It is Pogacar and like 15 riders 2 steps below.

For the people that think that Roglic was faking it, it is like saying that Contador was faking it. It is not in their DNA. They had to be up front all the time and trying to win. If Contador was at the back he was bad. Period. Same with Roglic.

Nothing changed today, Evenepoel got lucky no one accelerated on the highest gradients. Tomorrow will be completely different with the last 4km climb. Martinez Vlasov Martinez are now the main favorites.
I don't doubt that tomorrow will be completely different, however, when Remco accellerated Roglic did not have an answer. It doesn't matter where, because Roglic has no excuse not to respond with "present!" If he did not, it's because he didn't have the legs, which is otherwise proven by him not finishing with Yates in the end.

So its Martinez/Yates/Thomas there (since Carapaz -> Giro and Bernal out)? Might indeed be the best of the three in the end.
That is the likely plan. Three outsiders who, if they hit form & don't fall off, could be dangerous in the GC. Don't see them challenging Pog but could certainly be top 5. I doubt we'll see Ineos try to control the race like they did in the past, but instead they'll maybe try something more random to influence the race.

I dunno. He could have been leaving Vingegaard ride his own race and be here in support of him more than anything else. It's ok to try and spread success around the team too as he'll need Vingegaard to bury himself to challenge Pog at the Tour.

Ineos has the depth to both have riders up ahead in the break tomorrow and the team to break it apart in the bunch. I can well imagine Yates pulling from the bottom of Krabelin for Martinez.
