I think the secret is that everyone goes all out on that hill amd then Roglic goes at 90% and stillbdoes one of the fastest splits and hammers the rest
Wonder if maybe Evenepoel screwed up a corner or something. During the last part of Roglic' TT the time gap was -1 and a bit later +1. And then half a minute later it suddenly said -8.Looking at the first time check Vlasov really smashed the 2nd part, he gained time on everyone (even 1sec on Remco).
No way he was only at 90%I think the secret is that everyone goes all out on that hill amd then Roglic goes at 90% and stillbdoes one of the fastest splits and hammers the rest
Just less good corneringWonder if maybe Evenepoel screwed up a corner or something. During the last part of Roglic' time the time gap was 1- and a bit later +1. And then half a minute later it suddenly said -8.
There are a lot of technical roads in Basque country. I think race is not over till end of final stageRace over? Maybe Vlasov is close enough to do something interesting
GauduStages 3-6 looks promising, but does anybody have the ability to put Roglic under real pressure? I say no.
In every race... with peaks of form lasting 3 months... At least in the past you could enjoy preparation races and flemish classics without the July freaks. Not possible anymore.
Roglic probably will put himself under pressure at some pointStages 3-6 looks promising, but does anybody have the ability to put Roglic under real pressure? I say no.
Not gonna happen. Jumbo is such a force.Ineos have a very strong team and were solid today (4 riders in the top 11), can definitely put Roglic under pressure
They are less of a threat than Gaudu or Huguita or Remco. They are tactically useless. Thomas won't like these roads. Yates won't attack. Too technical for Martinez. Goeghean Hart is not quite at that levelIneos have a very strong team and were solid today (4 riders in the top 11), can definitely put Roglic under pressure
Honestly starting to enjoy Slovenian super human performances less and less..
Or superhuman in being so consistantly strong in this type of course.Nothing super human here. Roglič has been the best in the world in these short to middle length, explosive, up and down, technical ITTs since 2017.
Not gonna happen. Jumbo is such a force.
Same gap between him and the 3rd than between the 3rd and the 24th... don't know what you need to be superhuman.Nothing super human here. Roglič has been the best in the world in these short to middle length, explosive, up and down, technical ITTs since 2017.
Because he is like 3% faster here then any other contender with the exception of another guy that rode extremely well here today. Why would this be a super human performance? Roglic was the big favourite before the stage.
The only real threat to Roglic on this type of route would be Fausto, unfortunatley he is still training for his peak of form in the Tour of Oman 2023.They are less of a threat than Gaudu or Huguita or Remco. They are tactically useless. Thomas won't like these roads. Yates won't attack. Too technical for Martinez. Goeghean Hart is not quite at that level
