I just watched a recap. The only thing I noticed was how Fisher Black looked so weird on his TT bike. With that positioning how could anyone expect anything? Also I still forgets he's with Bora now. Almeida looked good. I also heard it's supposed to be sunny all week but maybe for the last stage only. Happy for Schachmann and QS.

For once a very open race! Nice!

Interesting Situation at Bora... Lipo telling he is just a domestique in this race (also due to illness)... nevertheless I think He is by far their best Option to win this race... Interesting to see if they stick to the original options (Vlasov & Martinez) and may end up beside the top spot of the podium or if they keep Lipo as long as possible in the race to have several possibilities to go for the win on stage 6
It could be tied to Martinez and Vlasov working as domestiques for Roglič in the Grand Tours, while Lipowitz gets a free role at the Tour. Everyone gets their share of the pie.

Did teams put together the starting order or was it the organisation who decided to put half the top 10 TT candidates before the broadcast started?

Armirail and Van Wilder can have a new episode of trying to find out who is the better TT rider.
It was a surprising result. Surprising as in that Armirail even came close. I kid, i kid.
This TT parcours was more suited to Armirail. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. It's 9 to 5 in favor of Van Wilder now, with the 3 most recent face offs going his way. Among the 5 in favor of Armirail, one was a TT Van Wilder wasn't allowed to go all out because he was on domestique duty for Evenepoel (but in all honesty, i doubt he would have beaten Armirail on that day) and another one in favor of Armirail was where he was 8s faster but Van Wilder had to ride in the pouring rain, which was particularly tricky since it had a very bendy descent in it (i honestly have no doubt Van Wilder would have beaten him there as well).

Finn left UAE because it was too crowded at the top..He is 23 still got time.. If he was switching teams to be a leader, gotta time trial like the best.

I looked at the profile for stage two, how disappointing. The Ronde is a tough act to follow.

This is the real battle in cycling. A shame I forgot about it yesterday :(

And to your first question: the teams decide the order of their riders on a first day TT (or on a second day TT if the race is the UAE Tour).

Finally managed to see some faces. Funniest thing is Soler hair catching light looking like he's silver haired and the next second back to black. I'm too easily amused by things no one else cares about

Not sure where the rolling eyes emoji in noob's post is coming from, I thought it was hilarious!

And he found his way to the second most crowded team after UAE. They've got Roglic, DFM, Vlasov, Hindley, Pellizzari, Lipo.. All of them are ahead in the pecking order.
If he wanted to be a leader, perhaps he had to choose a different team.

Took a first look, nice!
I like the design, only question I have: what about the scale of the profiles? Isn't 10,000 meters for the y axis a bit high?

The new KOM appears to be this one, so a bit easier than the original one. Not that it's gonna have any impact on the race.

Ide Schelling attacked the mountain jersey yesterday, apparently thinking that the time is measured on the climb. So he started slowly and then took the Strava KOM instead.

Still his most notable performance in two years or so.
