We can ignore the G2 gap cause they've already given up
I have no idea why Del Toro decided to give up like that. Obviously he doesn't have the legs to follow Seixas, but it didn't look like he was really about to blow.

It's 9% and there's only three people behind him, just ride– it's the only way you stay in the race. Instead he redid the Carapaz Finestre nonsense.

Seixas does have a bit of a coalminer climbing style

UAE have put him in so many farmy races that he straight up hasn't learned what to do when he isn't two levels above everyone else.

So Del Toro lost 20s for nothing, as he is now just back on the front. A true modern rider, no thoughts just legs

Yeah, Let's blame Del Toro and forget the wheelsucker Roglic and wheelsucker Lipo

Why should Del Toro care about them? Roglic isn't going for the win, Lipowitz was much more visibly on the limit. Drafting isn't much of a big deal at 9%.

If you are Del Toro, and you see the race win going up the road – do you keep working and just pummel it, or pull over and try to get others to work? You keep going. It's really stupid, there's no defending it. He should be at the top 30s down maximum, not 50s. That was totally self inflicted.

Edit: okay Lipowitz also isn't going for the win. Disappointing from Red Bull, but I don't think it detracts from Del Toro doing a Finestre... again
