Aranburu would’ve won that sprint no matter what. He’s extremely fast in these kind of finishes and was clearly on a very good day.

Tomorrow the queen stage, 180km with 3800m of climbing and in the last 70km there is almost no flat, it's all up and down

I don't think it's burning him out, but he'll live and learn. I think it's perfectly fine to let him rip all out, I mean like everything, in his break through phase as a youngster. Completely different story though is it wise to throw him to the tour where everybody is all tapped up to the max?

I agree with you. I just meant for this race only. We'll see.

He'll be the strongest tomorrow and Saturday. This is not Seixas of Avenir, it´s three levels stronger and resilient.
He doesn't tire.

Yes, the lighting does make the eyes look lighter and more like Tony Martin's, but in other pictures and movies Henry Fonda's look darker but still piercing, kinda like Aranburu's. Jane Fonda has those eyes too, just like her pops.

This is hardest race with CdD last year that Seixas has done in his life, I guess, so interesting to see next days for sure.

Seixas is racing intelligently, and he is not wasting energy on chasing anyone who is not up on the GC. His late surge today was impressive. He is riding well above his years and experience.

Great racing today. Courses like today are so much more interesting than those with longer Cat 1+ climbs. It's like having a classic in the middle of a stage race. Look forward to more of it, given the profiles!

Seixas did take his chance on the last descent, which made him have to pull pretty much alone till almost the end. He gained time on everybody except Izaggire. Let's see if his accumulated effort since the TT will have any effect on the queen stage tomorrow. All he really has to do is defend, which works in his favor.

True, but even just defending seems to be very exhausting if I look at that profile.

Exactly and at only 19 he could be put in difficulty. But if he shines again tomorrow he will restate his credentials as a truely sensational talent, as if he still needs to prove that.
