I think he knew there was no way he could win in a 150m sprint based on his sensations the last 20k and did what he thought had the best possibility.

Wow Bravo Seixas! For those that blame Lipo, it's not his fault, he attacked becasue he wanted to be the first into the 90 degree but there was still a lot of road left until the finish line and it wasn't as narrow as he thought or what his DS told him.

Yes, Seixas clearly didn‘t have 100% of his sprint, if you win as little as Lipowitz you‘ve got to go for these outside chances instead of working to have a minute on Izagirre.
