Well they have won just about everything possible in Australia. Von Hoff has won 17 races in the NRS and Haas has won every stage race for the gc.

I created his wikipedia page.;) Thats like a whole new level of support. ACF didnt even create Cadels page.

:)

Hope the big contenders try to win this race. Did they not really care about winning, or is it the jetlag that makes the lesser names come up here often?

Genesis having a pretty strong end of season>

Genesys have had a pretty strong year, full stop. They've won just about everything on the domestic Australian scene this year.

The past couple of weeks have been kinda reassuring, in fact, because I was wondering what their dominance said about the level of Australian domestic racing.

It's normally a good race, think lombardy before they changed the route - everyone goes balls to the wall because it's the end of the season.

The japan cup has had quite a few famous folk win it over the last few years, Dan Martin won last year, cunego has won it twice, it was one of bassos first races back after his suspension and he got 2nd or 3rd I forget.. Chris anker sorenson has won aswell. Ricco and Sinkewitz also won :S... Haven't checked the start list though, maybe cunego will get a win I think he is here

He is...
But looking at his results after the Tour de France it will be pretty surprising if he would win

I see. I don't rank Chris anker sorensen that high. Daniel Martin a few years ago not so big rider too. But Cunego and Basso is different. I guess it is good racing and I like the small 5-rider teams. Makes interesting open racing I hope?
They only have Lampre, Liquigas and Saxo WT teams is see, hope more are coming next year. Too bad Arashiro and Beppu arent racing!

Is Haas at Greenedge next season?

Nope. According to Gerry Ryan speaking at the Herald-Sun Tour final presentation, the roster for 2012 is already full, though he'd like him at the team in the longer term.

Jono L, any sense of where he might end up next year?
