Scary to think what we might see in 2023.Pogačar and UAE are definitely not victims for coming second best in the arms race

I can’t say for sure about Roglic but my guess is the riders on these mega doped teams basically sign everything away in order to be on the Uber juice. Being on a team like Jumbo or UAE right now is the equivalent of relying on Limewire for all your music downloads - high risk, high reward, high chance of complete corruption at any moment. My goshWorst Tour I have seen since 2012, I stopped watching after yesterday. I just can't take any more. And a thought should be spared for the forgotten one - poor Primoz Roglic. One day Primoz will realize he has been used and abused by Jumbo who found a new alpha mutant responder so they have thrown Roglic on the scrapheap. He won't ever win a Tour because they found a freak responder that means they don't need him anymore.
For extra clarity, Thomas said he even couldn’t keep pace with Bjerg that day (who came back from getting dropped on the 1st climb to shredding the peloton apart an hour later), let along McNulty who went above Armstrong levels before the final act of the freak show started.erm, NcNulty the other day had to "out" himself after UAE lost another (superhuman) rider Majka at last minute.
Thomas said he couldn't keep pace with McNulty's "Warp Speed" up the mountain, along with everyone else apart from mutants Pogacar and Vingegaard
Were you expecting a confession at the press conference?Guys, I just saw there's an interview where Jonas and WVA say the whole team is clean and that we should just trust them!
Should probably close these threads now.

100% agreePogačar and UAE are definitely not victims for coming second best in the arms race

It's a completely crazy performance, but I still give the edge to WvA in terms of outrageousness - but only just.Yes lets think about this. 6-8kg lighter than Pogacar yet today he beats Pogacar by 8 seconds on a flat / rolling course over 40km and finishes just 19 seconds behind the rampant and best we have seen WvA.
As Red Rick pointed out Vingegaard would have beaten Van Aert in the TT if he didn't start celebrating in the final km already.
The words thermonuclear, mutant and unbelievable come to mind.
I thought that banana thing was durianrider.Media: "Wout, some people might say that your performance over 3 weeks is just bananas."
Wout: "It's not the dope. I only eat bananas. Bananas for breakfast, Bananas during the race, Bananas for post-ride recovery. Bananas, folks!"
Wait until they get Bennett and Soler up to speed, could get funFor extra clarity, Thomas said he even couldn’t keep pace with Bjerg that day (who came back from getting dropped on the 1st climb to shredding the peloton apart an hour later), let along McNulty who went above Armstrong levels before the final act of the freak show started.

aah yes, the white rice of team sky wasn't it?Media: "Wout, some people might say that your performance over 3 weeks is just bananas."

Rogla, the forgotten man.
His team of self-absorbed, self-aggrandizing juiced idiots make him look human. Hell, they made Pogacar look human as well.
I want to know why Roglic has seemed a little 'off' all year (he did have trouble in Paris-Nice & then looked on the limit in the Dauphiné) whilst Vingegaard has been transformed into a watts monster at a level way beyond anything we could imagine a couple of months ago.
I think when we're watching laboratory products released into the TdF to casually scoop-up the winnings, any theory can be explored. Nothing we watched was 'real', ergo the reasons behind Rogla's apparent decommissioning this year are probably not 'real' either (real in the sense of normal sporting equity & natural reasons behind the slump).
When people talk of age etc. I really don't buy it considering the ridiculousness of the rest of the team. Something else is going on.
Don't forget the pillows and hand sanitiseraah yes, the white rice of team sky wasn't it?![]()

Saying his position is like like Remco... seriously.
He looks to have a very similar position as WVA, no way does he get the cda of Remco.

“We are totally clean, every one of us, and I can say that to every one of you,” Vingegaard said. “Not one of us is taking anything illegal. I think why we are so good is because of the preparation we do. We take altitude camps to the next level, and everything: materials, food and training. I think the team is really the best in this. That’s why you have to trust us.”
