It's the third day. Jumbo don't give a sh*t about these stages.

They'll be 'dormant' of sorts until they active those mega watts & blow the field away. I'm getting old & I've seen this way too often now. Vingegaard will be amazing, just perhaps not in the first week.
I think Jumbo cannot be too happy about the GC after three (!) days: Vinge and Rog both are already more than 30 seconds behind Remco. And Remco probably will be at his best in week three.

But, what a race: we have Remco vs Vinge/Rog/Kuss/Kelderman, and it‘s close. Plus, all these other incredibly strong guys, like Ayuso.

Jumbo now really should start to gain time on Remco. But, good to see, Jumbo‘s whole team at this Vuelta is in great shape, again. There are strong like US Postal in this Vuelta, and also have been at Giro and Tour. This team - unbelievableably - really is currently better than UAE, and better than USPS ever was. And Jumbo here let a big budget team like Bahrain look like amateurs!…

So now they fear Remco? Come on. I think it's Grischa's fault, he forgot his "show the world who's the strongest" password to activate Skeletor's 7 w/kg.
You are all to anxious with the skeletor. He doesn't fear anybody. The password "show the world who's the strongest" to activate the 7 w/kg will be done on tourmalet and angliru. Calm down guys, you need to be patient 😂

They have respect or even slight fear of Remco. One still cannot know for certain, but there is a possibility that Remco is even stronger than Vingegaard. So Remco would be strongest current GT GC rider, Vinge second, Pog and Rog third.
I actually think the opposite - if Vingo went off the front with another GC rider in the tour do you think they’d be closing the gap for Pogacar? I think they were pretty obviously trying to get Roglic a stage win, believing they can deal with Remco later.

We had the thriller in Manilla, the rumble in the jungle and now ... El Pistolero versus Ma Vingegaard! Preparation? Biff! Pow! Ouch!

"However, for the rider from Pinta, having raced the Tour de France means that he has not been able to prepare as well for the Vuelta a España, something that could work against him in terms of preparation:

"If he had prepared exclusively for the Vuelta, would he have arrived with more guarantees? Sure, because he would have seen even the curves of the sprint stages," 'El Pistolero' continued. "He could have dedicated himself to watching the climbs, the time trials. But, this way, he will have seen some key points, but you don't prepare it with the same care as if you come exclusively for the Vuelta a España".

I await the full rebuttal from the Vingegaard family. :)

Jonas is good in this Vuelta. I think he doesn’t even have to win this Vuelta. All he needs is to go as hard as he can - he has to leave everything on the road.

He now has reached an age, and a training age (years as an athlete), where he‘ll benefit of riding two GTs in one season - he‘ll benefit from that in next year’s Tour. He cannot simulate that completely by solo training. After season break, he‘ll start his preparations for 2024 on a whole other level.
