Yes, the performance of Pogacar doesn’t make Vingegaards performance less. And you got be wondering if he is performing like this after the injury how much can he improve to next year.Very proud of him.
Very proud of him.
Where is Red Rick? He told us there was no way. Not that I expected a performance like this, but...
I think most of us expected that. But I guess his recovery abillity is off the charts.
Are you talking about Jonas, or Rick?
They don’t do this as much anymore. Especially not visma. Bottles are handed off from the side of the road. I mean tratnik might be grabbing those for the guys who don’t dare leave draftFetching bottles?
The guy is a robot. No way they inseminate her within a three month window of the tourI know Jonas is a family man and all, but I thought his job was to win bike races for Visma. If he doesn't do the Vuelta, then theres basically nothing else to do the rest of the season for him? Maybe Worlds and Lombardia, but c'mon, thats usually not really his cup of tea.
What would have happened if Trine was expecting during the Tour?

Because contract renewals are performance reliant?
Yeah I'm sure doing a month of paternity leave means no one wants to sign the guy that is about to be top 2 in 4 consecutive Tours.Because contract renewals are performance reliant? They aren’t really employees as much as they are products
Jonas is from Denmark. Paternity leave is required by law here. And the team probably doesn't want to piss off their biggest star by preventing him from present at the birth of his child.
Who said the team would prevent him from taking leave? That was not the point at all.Yeah I'm sure doing a month of paternity leave means no one wants to sign the guy that is about to be top 2 in 4 consecutive Tours.

Wish all of you who live in proper countries would stop rubbing it in, ffs.Jonas is from Denmark. Paternity leave is required by law here.
And after 2 Tour wins in a row he pretty much sets the performance requirements he expects Visma to fulfill; not the other way around. He's got a contract until 2028, so that's propably not much of a worry for him.
Sorry Moose; last year's history included a damaged Tadej taking on a full strength Jonas and Visma. That situation is pretty much reversed. Vingo's Giro was pretty much a training Tour where the opposition conceded they were racing for lesser places and let him do whatever. Jonas has been returning from injury Purgatory with almost no rest so his 3rd week history will be written in this Tour under those circumstances, IMO. Next year can be better for him if he doesn't accomplish what he hopes.Vingo himself says, "I did the best ride of my life" on Stage 15, he explains that he did not come here to finish 2nd and people on here are still like "yeah but he's not at his best". People just say anything on here.
Pog's best has been better than Vingo's best...so far. But that can change in the 3rd week. Vingo has historically been strongest then.
I'm from the US, but worked for a Danish company for 3 years (Worked in their US branch but got trips to DK to work with free lodging near Nyhavn in Copenhagen). Let me tell you, I was very ready to switch citizenship after that; phenomenal country and love the Danish people. Still have some fantastic friends there.Wish all of you who live in proper countries would stop rubbing it in, ffs.
