Interesting. In a mass movement like this, there are always going to be some nuts. I mean, you don't really even need a mass movement to find those, just check your nearest shopping center. If you can find a crowd, you can find some nuts.

The bigger something like this becomes, the more it poses a threat to the status quo. As this happens, you can bet you'll see all sorts of nuts dredged up and other provocations. Whatever it takes to discredit and diminish it.

As far as class warfare goes, my impression is that this mass demonstration phenomenon is a response to class warfare - the class warfare that has been unleashed on them - that is, on all of us.

I’m Jordan Leads the one in the picture… The picture is 100% real as me being the flying baby. I was born in 91 so this was taken within a year…I have had this photo hanging in my house all of my life along with other climbing photos. I can verify its me and i do believe i have the original photo as well if you’d like proof…

    Yeah, you have no idea! And its on multiple other sites so when i say its me people don’t believe it still. But it is real. That is my father jeff leads and mother sherry leads. It was for the patagonia photo shoot hence why everything is so staged and thats why they have little gear in the photo….They had more just not shown. My five year old older sister was here too… My parents were not bad parents.. just outdoorsy and adventurous. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't wholly agree with either of these graphics, but at least the one I posted conveys the idea that "left, right & center" in the US is a discussion located mostly to the right of center in the context of the rest of the world.

The US is a mature state and there are plenty of safeguards against radical ideologies from the bottom. The problem we encounter is when extreme ideologies are pushed from the top, usually via proxy. The latest iteration of this is the Koch brothers and their ilk. The ideology these guys are pushing is essentially a return to feudalism. And they aren't just talking about it, they are doing all they can behind the scenes to make it happen. Their efforts include funding several influential think tanks and starting/funding the so called Tea Party. They won't stop until the US is reduced to Third World status. Meanwhile, other countries in the world, in particular China, aren't exactly holding themselves back in their efforts to catch up with and exceed the United States in every conceivable metric.
