Snowpocalypse hits Texas!

Brave residents take photos of shocking aftermath
Citizens of the great state of Texas are enduring unusually wintery weather today. Locals have dubbed it Snowpocalypse 2014. Authorities are encouraging people to stay off the road. And, of course, area schools are closed.

Despite the inclement weather, Texas residents are proving their mettle by braving the conditions and going outside to take pictures of the winter storm’s aftermath. They are then posting these photos online so that we can know what they’re enduring. (I’ve collected these particular Snowpocalypse photos from Houston and Austin Redditors.)
