I'm joking!
Good god, what happened to the usually exceptionally clever sense of humor that roams these threads?!?!?

So is ACF being "ironic" when he says Cadel can win the Tour De France, am I being ironic when I say Uran can podium, or are we just both talking crap?

Well you're being ironic because you think these events are unlikely to happen. As for ACF...

To be honest, I think we have been cheated ironically out of a legendary edition of KBK because of Koldo Fernández' unlucky injury. Had he started we would have seen a legendary edition of KBK involving Euskaltel riding everybody off their wheels and TTTing in for the 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8.

Now THAT would have been a legendary edition of KBK.

Tyler Farrar was unlucky. Not only did he suffer a puncture, in the finale he chose the wrong line and ended up in 4th place. He was, however, not the only one. Greipel also couldn't find the right wheel and only made it to 3rd place.

Amazing.

Imagine that both men hadn't made their respective ever so small errors in judgement and were slightly more lucky - just imagine what would have happened.

We would have seen two top sprinters on 1st place!

Now that's just ridiculous. Neither Farrar nor Greipel can beat a top sprinter so by your logic they should have both finished second!

Typical of both of them, nice big race. both in front of peleton for the sprint and neither of them can win.

More typical of Greipel than for Farrar though.

Both Van Aevermaet & Devolder said they had great legs this weekend, but were never able to show it due to punctures & crashes

I haven't even noticed Greg in both races like at all, sounds like excuses. Don't even know if he got any airtime lol.

Devolder really did have some awful bad luck. Better now than in RVV or P-R.

also greg van avermaet blamed everyone but himself or else he would've won too. 3 guys who would've won if they didn't had bad luck!! has that ever happened in a race yet?? would indeed be legendary to have 3 winners.
Don't forget Karsten Kroon probably had monstrously good legs again but somehow didn't win :D

He crashed before the oude kwaremont and hat to wait two minutes to get a bike. He and the team had to chase back on of which he was already tired and they still was involved in another crash of which he went down. I think that is bad luck.

Pleased for the lads at Sky too.

Why? Didn't Flecha help Sutton? Don't think CJ wants to insult/kill the guy... ;)
