Interestingly, Dan Brown not nearly as strong as last year. Maybe cause they had to work more in the run-in to the finish.

No-ones predictions have included or mentioned Albasini and I think he is a good outside chance. Finished 12th I think last year and has had very good form this year with a solid performance at Amstel looking after Gerrans as his most recent outing. It seems that GE will be riding for Albasini and possibly Clarke if Albasini isn't feeling right.

So what you're saying is Nordhaug should have gone for an anonymous top 10 (that wasn't guaranteed at all - take a look at the top 10 of the race) rather than try to win? That's pretty depressing.
