Can anyone compete with George bennett on this finish?
No. I think he will finish solo, but obviously with multiple riders coming in both before and after him.

Startlist quality is usually inversely proportional to race quality!Sh*t startlist. Kinda exciting
Stange that Uno-X doesn’t drop a dom to bring THJ back after the mechanical
They‘re barely off the descent, how quick are they supposed to be with dropping back?Stange that Uno-X doesn’t drop a dom to bring THJ back after the mechanical
This close to the Mur, I think they will wait at the top, they can't bring him back in time for the climb anyway, and it's better to have teammates with him after.Stange that Uno-X doesn’t drop a dom to bring THJ back after the mechanical
Nevermind, they are going so slow it isn't happeningHopefully someone tries and goes for it after this Mur
They are afraid he will feel it on SundayEasiest Fleche in a long time.
Why couldn't Remco just race this. Bit surprised Decathlon isn't trying to do it as it should suit Seixas better
I once went to the Tour stage where they went up the Mont du Chat. I looked Tony Martin straight in the eyes. You know those old pictures from WWI of those shellshocked soldiers? That's exactly how he looked 😅The drama at this early stage of the race is found at the rear end of the peloton, so I'd wish they would show a bit more from this angle when going up the climbs. It's not very important for the battle for the race win, but for the riders fighting to stay with the peloton, it's life and death.
It's the same in the Grand Tours - I'm always curious to see how the heavier (or sick or whatever) riders are doing on the early climbs (where the grupettos are formed), but the cameras tend to follow the front of the peloton, even though it's clear nothing important will happen there.
It was the normal race 10 years ago. Cyycling has changed with the presence of some riders. But the good ones here are thinking to Sunday, so... Anyway I hope fight from now on.I don't remember ever seeing such a big peloton this late in the race?
I don't think there's much risk of that, so you're goodStuck in meetings for the next 30 minutes so hopefully nobody makes the race hard and we get a sprint in the mur

Yeah, thinking about Sunday is a good point. It was the normal race 10 years ago. Cyycling has changed with the presence of some riders. But the good ones here are thinking to Sunday, so... Anyway I hope fight from now on.
Mark Padun vibes.Where exactly is Victor Lafay, could've sworn he was meant to be racing here, I don't know of too many viruses that last 6 months, was hanging with Pogacar and Vingegaard on steep climbs a couple of years back and has been scamming teams ever since.
