Yes, I would like to see my french "countryman from Burgos" Lenny Martinez win this race. Maybe there are better people for this finish, and Seixas is at another level.

But I hope a podium.

Easiest Fleche in a long time.

Why couldn't Remco just race this. Bit surprised Decathlon isn't trying to do it as it should suit Seixas better

The drama at this early stage of the race is found at the rear end of the peloton, so I'd wish they would show a bit more from this angle when going up the climbs. It's not very important for the battle for the race win, but for the riders fighting to stay with the peloton, it's life and death.

It's the same in the Grand Tours - I'm always curious to see how the heavier (or sick or whatever) riders are doing on the early climbs (where the grupettos are formed), but the cameras tend to follow the front of the peloton, even though it's clear nothing important will happen there.
I once went to the Tour stage where they went up the Mont du Chat. I looked Tony Martin straight in the eyes. You know those old pictures from WWI of those shellshocked soldiers? That's exactly how he looked 😅

Where exactly is Victor Lafay, could've sworn he was meant to be racing here, I don't know of too many viruses that last 6 months, was hanging with Pogacar and Vingegaard on steep climbs a couple of years back and has been scamming teams ever since.
