I'm going with Ayuso and Almeida.
I don't fully trust Almeida, but I think Ayuso will be on podium.

What is the status of Ayuso at the moment? Can we expect something big from him? There is been lack of progress since his breakthrough 3 years ago.

Power struggle in UAE should be interesting. No idea if Almeida will be close to 100% (due to crashing out of the Tour). This Vingegaard guy is apparently a decent climber so maybe he will make top3 as well.

Jonas Jonas and Jonas, and then some :joycat:
I'm not at all confident in Almeida shape after that broken rib. On the other hand I'm not confident in the others either. The medium mountain could benefit Carapaz. On the other hand the TTT...

It's funny that other/Vino option includes both o Connor and Landa :joycat::joycat::joycat:

The highlights for me is definitely gonna be watching the UAE circus show. I hate clowns but the UAE clown show I'm here for. Almeida and Ayuso cooperating to prove everyone wrong would be funny too :joycat:

But oh I do really miss Rogla.

Ciccone and Gall aren't
I'll gladly make that an avatar bet.

I think that Ciccone and Gall are more likely to end in the top-5 than Hindley and Kuss are.

No avatar for either of us if none of the four riders end in the top-5.

Kuss I agree, but Hindley more likely to finish top 5. Done.

To finalise the details:
For how long should the loser wear the chosen avatar? I'm happy with something between a week and a month.
If two of the four riders end in the top-5, shall it be a tie or the winner is the one who has a rider highest in GC?

I trust Almeida more than Ayuso. I am still sticking with my original tips: Vingegaard, Almeida and Bernal.

Yes Bernal is my tip from the heart not head. If head I would tip Carapaz for 3rd.
Carapaz is unlikely. He's not riding and he's not a redhead.

I went for Vingegaard and Almeida and then wanted to find a more creative third option than Ayuso, but man, this field really doesn't have anyone jumping out. I ended up voting Ayuso but I almost expect someone out of left field to end up on the podium.

Gall strikes me as a man who will thrive riding Suisse/Tour/Vuelta like it's just one big 7 week long GT.

He was in bad condition last season so it doesn't count.

Anyway I went with other. 'GC Marc Soler' will podium the race.

A week is usually what I go for. I think higher on GC personally, but don't mind either way.
