Campenaerts and Soler are both due at the Vuelta so Horner will be pleased - knuckleheads!
I see Israel PT have only 5 confirmed guys. Does this mean Froomey still has a chance?!

1. Vingegaard, because obvious
2. Bernal, because I want him to become a force again in the peloton to compete for top spots
3. Gall, because I'm Austrian and root for him

Ayuso, Almeida DNF because they both go down arguing with each other

Add Pellizzari to the pile of riders not targeting GC. It is so perfectly set up for a really random top-10 that it isn't even funny anymore.

At this point someone not targeting the GC will end up targeting it just because he is high anyway.

Also, there are no stages really suitable to lose a lot in week one. I mean on Limone, Pal, Valdezcaray you can just follow the peloton..

I picked the top 3 in the poll - which is kind of lame, but Vingegaard, Ayuso and Almeida do seem like the strongest in the line-up. However, the chance of all three completing the Vuelta is around 50 percent, I would say.

Votes can be changed until the race starts, lots of outdated Carapaz votes still.

What did he say? He wasn't targeting the GC in the Giro either, but...
This is what Google Translate makes of it:
No, Jai Hindley will be in the general classification. The others and I will focus on the stages. The team is pushing me hard to focus on the stages, because it's the second Grand Tour of the year, I'm young and it's best not to overdo it.

Hindley's form of late has been nothing to brag about, so I'd say Pellizzari could end up top 10 just by going for stages (unless he takes it real easy in the first week).

1. Vingegaard
2. Almeida
3. Landa

Landa is a question mark but the team seems to be relieved after the uncertainty regarding Remco's departure so I expect a good performance.

We should be making a poll about who will be the revelation/surprise rider, a la Froome, Cobo, etc...

Someone like Ciccone.
