The real question is. Why do I receive mails (newslettesr) from RadioShack when I never signed up for it and actually never even visited their site.
Spooky.

PR/Brainwash department?

You have been converted to our religion,

The Westemeyer'd version:

Lance will never sit in the DS seat because it would hamper his skirt chasing.

You get a piece of paper as a newsletter via snailmail? Or do you mean email? If email, that would be fairly easy to hyjack. If genuine celulose, then I'd say someone played a joke on you.

I don't think he will go the manager/coach route. Especially if he does not come out of this investigation with his name cleared. But even if cleared, he seems to have too many other irons on the fire to add something else that would be that much of a time commitment.

Ever wonder how "Social Networking" sites make their money, considering that you see very few ads on the sites? It's because they are selling information about your behavior, likes and dislikes to 3rd parties. The more things you like on Facebook, the more twitter pages you follow, the more you visit certain websites... it's all used to better refine you as a target. And marketers that buy this info will combine this data with other information they've already got.

The whole idea is to send communications only to those most inclined to react to them. And it looks like they succeeded in your case.

The most damning thing you can do to stay off the junk email radar is to not divulge anything about yourself online.

Lance is a registered Republican last I heard. Problem if he runs for Gov. of Texass is he is a moderate Republican. The way America is going you had better be an Evangelical to keep living in the country, Republican or Democrat.

He's a democrat. He can't win a senate or governor's race in Texas.

US House maybe.

And before people say anything about his upcoming trial... think for a moment about how many US politicians have been re-elected despite criminal charges or serving jail time.

Has he said publicly that he's a democrat? Not questioning but would like a reference.

Thanks!

As if Lance taken at his word means anything, unless it's derogatory like the associations with Texas, Republicans, and Bush. For one LA isn't politician material. It's his detractors who keep bringing a run for governor up hoping that would be a sure way to air their fantasies of his dirty laundry.

I certainly would not call Mark McKinnon a detractor as he is a Board member of the LAF and part of Public Strategies and he has been immersed in Politics at all levels.
He asked Lance this on his political blog:

Is there a future for Lance Armstrong in politics?

If you feel like you can do the job better than people who are doing it now, and you can really make a difference, then that’s a real calling to serve, and I think you have to do that. I felt a strong desire to come back and race right now because I felt we had a place and I could have a real impact and that’s why I’m doing it. I don’t think you want to enter political life unless you really think you can really have an impact. Don’t do it for a bet, or a dare or for your ego. Or for any other competitive desire you have. Do it because you can get in there and change people’s lives. That’s why you do it. So, there will come a time, or not, that I say to myself, “You know what, I can help affect change.” And if that day comes, then absolutely.

To the OPs question - IMO no, I do not expect him to take a management or DS role in a team.
