Which of the WorldTeams will win last this year? All races at level .1 or above count, plus national and continental championships. Stage wins and GC wins only, no other jerseys.

Quick-Step, BMC, Orica, LottoBE, Sunweb, FDJ, Trek, UAE and Bahrain are out already so we can poll.

If I recall correctly Giant - Alpecin won/lost this last year, mainly due to a horrendous crash on training taking out Degenkolb, Barguil and a few others. They had to wait untill the Giro prologue for Dumoulin to give them their first victory. He came close three times in ITT's but was beaten by Matthews, Izagirre and, surprisingly, Pinot.
Giant - Alpecin eventually ended the season with 15wins, leaving Cannondale(10wins) and AG2R (8wins) trailing.

Teams present in the polls from 2015/2016/2017 are: AG2R, LottoNL, Garmin, Giant, Katusha.

AG2R are always a good shout in these competitions. Their win frequency is better than it used to be, but there are very few "winners" in the famous brown shorts.

Probably Cannondale unless Wippert gets a bunch sprint win in a smaller race. Dimension Data also have a chance unless Cavendish can get up against Kittel soon.

Voted Astana. Maybe not the biggest favourites for this, but they do lack a nailed-on winner. Apart from Minali, who'll struggle to get an early-season win now that it seems like they're not doing Langkawi after all, there are no proper sprinters. Aru is not sure to get an early victory when he's aiming for the Giro, and Lopez is sidelined, so it's going to have to come from someone like Lulu in the hills or time trials, which can always be a bit random.

5 Lotto votes. They do have Groenewegen...
And Lobato for Hatta Damm,if he is well placed tomorrow Lotto wil be out of contention.

As ever, fate denies Lotto a win.

Well, van Emden was doing his damnest today. Unfortunately not even the peloton taking a wrong turn - or whatever happened - could change things...

And Movistar out.
Not that I suppose anyone was expecting they would "win" this.

Doesn't meet the criteria

Probably Cannondale, but Lotto are contenders too for the simple fact that they're the reincarnation of Rabobank, Belkin, etc. and therefore known specialists in failure.

Already missing Lampre just for this.
