I mean they were never winning from the peloton and he almost won...

Sure lucky for Kielich a guy like Wallin came but I don't see how UNO X could've played this different, or at least the final. Should've tried more on the dirt sectors earlier

Wallin pulling like he was heading to his own wedding, or something.









(A story Holm told a while ago; he was on a training ride with Wallin, the latter going quite fast. When asked why, he replied that he was going to a wedding that afternoon: His own.)

Alpecin rode it smart. You can take a chance and go early because there is no certainty that the point hunting teams will try to bring it back.

Teunissen so bad in positioning. Was one of the strongest yesterday and today, but completely out of position for the sprint

Spare a thought for the riders in Switzerland.
They just went from having around 93 Ks to go, to having around 173 Ks to go...

These 4 are gone. Strongest in the race (obviously Hirschi missed it again) and group behind is too smal to have enough domestiques to chase this down.
